Employee Spotlight

Employee spotlight posts live at marketofchoice.com/employee-spotlight/ and use the employee_spotlight custom post type. The index page displays a 2-column grid of all spotlights.

Creating an Employee Spotlight

Create the post

Navigate to Spotlight > Add New Employee Spotlight in WP admin. Set the title to the employee's name.

Add content

Build the page with Fusion Builder. Typical spotlight layout:

Employee photo (large, prominent)
Name and role/store
Q&A or narrative about the employee
Optional pull quotes or fun facts

Set the featured image

Upload the employee photo as the featured image at 1200x925px (48:37 aspect ratio). This appears on the spotlight grid.

Center on the employee's face with good headroom
JPEG quality 85
Set descriptive alt text (e.g., "{Name}, {Role} at {Store}")

SEO and publish

Set Yoast meta title and description
Verify the slug is clean (/employee-spotlight/{name-slug}/)
Publish

Notes

The spotlight index at /employee-spotlight/ uses a 2-column grid layout
The page is linked from the site navigation after initial content was established
There's also a protected employee-only site at marketofchoice.com/employees — this is separate from the public spotlights. Credentials are set in the employees.php mu-plugin.
